Configuring Your Email Program |
In order to send and receive email, you will need to configure your email program (i.e. Outlook Express, Outlook, Eudora, etc.) with the correct settings.
No matter which e-mail program you choose you will need the following information:
- Email Address: xxxx@xxx.com
- Your Username (Account Name)
- Your password
- The name of the incoming mail server (POP3)
- The name of the outgoing mail server (SMTP)
Note:
We recommend using your isp's SMTP server, probably something like, mail.yourisp.com or smtp.yourisp.com or If you are a UNIX hosting client you can also use yourdomain.com for Outgoing mail (SMTP) and if you are an NT hosting client use mail.yourdomain.com for Outgoing mail (SMTP) instead of your ISP's.
