How to Configure E-mail in Netscape |
Click Edit->Preferences.
In the Identity window under Mail & Newsgroups.
Fill in:
Your name: This can be anything you like.
Email address: username@domain.name
In Mail Servers click Add next to Incoming and fill in:
Server Name: domain.name
Server Type: POP3 Server
User Name: username
Then, Click OK
In the Outgoing Mail Server fill in:
Outgoing mail(SMTP)server: domain.name
Outgoing mail server user name: username
Use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) : Never
Then, Click OK
When you logon Netscape will ask you for a password.
If you are setting this up on a computer that already has another mail account setup in Netscape, you can create a second Netscape profile. To do this go to Start/Programs/Netscape/Utilities/User Profile Manager and follow the on screen instructions filling in the same information as above.
